ADL Fall 2026 Internship Description

ADLs New England team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from September 14 to December 18 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience with Jewish professionalism local advocacy experience and strong organizational skills. Our New England Field Operations internship provides the opportunity for students or recently graduated individuals to gain practical experience with local advocacy community outreach and combating hate and extremism.

Application portals will close at 12PM ET on August 14th 2026. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-August.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Assist with preparation and logistics for board meetings programs and external events
  • Support anti-bias initiatives through research data entry and project support for the Field Operations team
  • Attend internal staff meetings and take detailed notes to support team follow-up
  • Uphold ADLs mission and values in all work maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for non-profit work
  • Desire to start building career within non-profit sector

Compensation and Hours

  • This internship is paid $15 an hour or local minimum wage (whichever is higher).
  • The internship is 15 hours per week.
  • This internship will be hybrid with on-site presence required in Boston.

What will you do during this internship

  • You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time solutions.
  • You will have practical hands-on experience with our Field Operations team in supporting our local constituents Board members synagogues and anyone who is facing antisemitism hate or bias in the region.
  • Collaborate with meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.
