Job Summary
Primary Purpose Of Position
An employee in this position shall have the responsibility for the maintenance and repair of building HVAC plumbing and electrical systems. Employee will also repair and maintain construct furniture floor coverings doors windows and other tasks associated with the carpentry trade.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the positions role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Trainee/Apprenticeship: Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the positions role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. After successful completion of a one year apprenticeship in the assigned trade(s) the position can be updated to the Contributing Level. Special Note: This is a generalized representation of positions in this class and is not intended to reflect essential functions per ADA . Examples of competencies are typical of the majority of positions but may not be applicable to all positions.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of high school and three years of progressive experience in the construction or repair of secondary electrical systems; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer a North Carolina Electrical Contractor license.
