Facility Maintenance Manager

Currahee Club located in Toccoa GA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for aâFacility Maintenance Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fastâpaced hospitality-focused property organization. Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and maintenance and ensures cleanliness of the entire facility

• Manages contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facility and grounds

• Oversees operation of mechanical and power equipmentutilizedin the maintenance of the facility

• Coordinates exterior property cleaning and maintenancein accordance withcompany standards

• Implements policies and procedures for the Building Maintenance and facilities Department including compliance of all company standards relating to quality of products and services

• Responsible for interviewing hiring training planning assigning and directing work evaluating performance rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems

• Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas ofmanpower productivitycostsand other expenses

• Manages department members that may include but is not limited to: Assistant Maintenance technicianscleanersand laundry facilities and housepersons.

• Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs for department

• Responsible for implementing andmaintainingexcellent service to achieve guest satisfaction

• Communicatesany changes or new policies and procedures to the department.

• Regular and reliable attendance

• Conducts staff meetings with subordinates

Education and Experience Requirements

• Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (Degree preference in diesel mechanics auto mechanics or smallengines).

• Valid Drivers License and other applicable mechanical/equipment licenses (BoilerHVACetc.)

• Ability to read and speak English may berequiredin order toperform the duties of the job (e. the associates maybe requiredto communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)

Working Conditions

• Frequently uses hands

• Regularly stands walks sits climbs balances stoops kneels crouches and crawls

• Frequently lifts moves and carries up to 50 pounds; to push or pull up to 100 pounds

• Normally works near moving mechanical parts sharp objectsfumesand/or airborne particles

• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions

• Noise level is moderate

• Work weekends and holidays
