Pay: The anticipated salary range for this position is $70000-$85000 per year depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors including relevant work experience the skills required for the role internal equity market competitiveness and budget considerations. Shift times: Core Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM Flexible Hours: The employee may be assigned on-call coverage and occasional evening weekend or emergency work
Location: Based in either St. Paul MN or Minneapolis MN but will oversee facilities affiliate wide.

Travel: This position travels 75% of the time. This position will oversee facilities work across all 5 states (MN IA NE ND SD).

Job Summary:
Under immediate supervision of the Senior Director of Facilities and Safety the Facilities Manager effectively coordinates all facilities administration and operations across the PPNCS affiliate. They will supervise the facilities technicians oversee all maintenance repairs construction and projects. The Facilities Manager will also perform other duties as required by the Senior Director of Facilities and Safety. The Facilities Manager is an advocate in implementing our mission Advancing and protecting sexual and reproductive healthcare for all.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience in Facilities Management. Must include experience in property and facilities repairs personnel management and management of multiple locations.
• Valid drivers license and proof of insurance required.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
• 24/7 on call is mandatory.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

MANAGES FACILITIES & RELATED TICKETING SYSTEMS

• Ensures timely completion of all work required to keep the facilities up and running smoothly. Physical demands include extended periods of driving extended periods of walking/standing and occasional outdoor activities.

• Performs and/or coordinates all facility management operations including maintenance repairs upgrades and new construction.
• Communicates effectively with landlords regarding facility issues and repairs.
• Maintains flexible working hours and is on call as needed for when emergent issues arise.
• Fields and triages incoming facilities concerns.
• Performs routine visits to PPNCS sites to ensure facilities are maintained to standard which requires driving throughout Minnesota North Dakota South Dakota Iowa and Nebraska.
• Provides oversight and ensures the timely completion of tickets submitted through the FMX and CleanTelligent work order systems. Systems are used by all locations in the five-state affiliate.

OVERSIGHT OF FACILITIES TECHS

• Directly oversees Facilities Techs schedules and project assignments on a daily basis ensuring robust coverage during operating hours.
• Reviews and approves/denies techs PTO requests.
• Reviews edits if needed approves and submits techs timecards every pay period

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Assists the Sr. Director of Safety & Facilities in conducting annual hazardous vulnerability assessments providing safety education and drills and bi-annual safety facility and security risk assessment audits at all locations.
• Collaborates with the Sr. Director of Safety & Facilities to create and implement capital improvement projects and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
• Identifies current and future facilities repair and maintenance needs by working closely with health center managers.
• Refers information to the Senior Director of Safety & Facilities in a timely manner with communication maintained between parties until the issue is resolved.
• Works with the Sr. Director of Safety & Facilities to ensure organizational compliance with federal state and local ordinances by adhering to requirements.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

• Demonstrates exemplary customer service in person in writing and by phone both internally and externally by responding professionally promptly and correctly to all queries. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and develop credibility at all levels.
• Performs management of vendor contracts for all facilities including preventative maintenance cleaning services and maintenance and repairs. This includes researching the vendor obtaining competitive bids facilitating the new vendor approval process and managing vendor relationships and expectations.
• Participates in the Safety Committee.
