Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Facilities Equipment Engineer ensures the daily operational reliability of all facility systems supporting manufacturing. This role is hands-on fast-paced and critical to maintaining uptime across systems including but not limited to: HVAC; DIW ROW PCW and CW; compressed air and vacuum industrial gas and chemical delivery electrical distribution process and building plumbing and cleanroom environments. The engineer will execute preventive maintenance respond to urgent equipment failures monitor system health and partner closely with manufacturing equipment and process engineering teams and facilities leadership to keep production running smoothly.

This position complements the Facilities Project Engineer by owning day-to-day operations troubleshooting technician leadership and reliability improvements.

Salary range for position: $115000 - $160000 commensurate with experience.

Knowledge: Has deep knowledge of high-tech manufacturing facility systems and uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Job Complexity: Works on systems where analysis of situations or data requires a deep understanding of the connectivity of the building systems what they impact and how to resolve issues quickly. Exercises judgment in selecting methods techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Internal and external contacts often pertain to company plans and objectives.

Supervision: Be able to work self-directed determining methods and procedures on new assignments. This role will also supervise 4 to 10 facilities maintenance technicians providing direction prioritization technical guidance and performance leadership to ensure consistent high-quality execution of daily tasks and preventive maintenance.

Experience: Typically requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or related field of engineering and 5 - 8 years experience of hands-on successful troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience in facilities maintenance facilities operations or complex manufacturing equipment maintenance in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
