About this role:

The Facilities Engineer designs installs and maintains the utilities and building systems at a Carrier manufacturing facility ensuring the infrastructure needed to run the operation. This role supports facility and utility projects and their performance verification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages the design installation and maintenance of facilities and utilities (electrical compressed air water HVAC).

• Leads infrastructure projects and site modifications.

• Ensures reliability and energy efficiency of general services and building systems.

• Coordinates contractors and facilities service providers.

• Supports the commissioning of the plant and its utilities.

• Ensure compliance with safety and building codes (OSHA NFPA NEC).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree

• 3 years of facilities plant engineering or industrial utilities experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.

• Strong knowledge of building systems and utilities (electrical distribution HVAC compressed air water).

• Experience leading infrastructure/utility projects and coordinating contractors.

• Knowledge of applicable safety and building codes (OSHA NFPA NEC).

• Ability to read and interpret electrical mechanical and P&ID drawings.

• Experience with facility construction and utility installation projects.

• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability.

• Project management and contractor management skills.
