ELECTRICIAN
Skilled Electrical Professional Critical Facilities Industrial Environment

Were looking for an experienced Electrician to join an onsite facilities operations team supporting a sophisticated biopharmaceutical facility. This is more than routine electrical maintenanceyoull play a critical role in keeping essential infrastructure utilities laboratories manufacturing areas warehouses and regulated environments operating safely and reliably.

WHAT YOULL DO

Electrical Installation Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Install maintain troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment

  • Work with low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems

  • Maintain interior exterior and emergency lighting systems

  • Troubleshoot motors VFDs controllers and control panels

  • Support UPS systems generators automatic transfer equipment and emergency power systems

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS work orders and established procedures

  • Respond to electrical service calls and reactive maintenance needs

Critical Utilities & Regulated Environments

  • Support electrical systems serving manufacturing areas laboratories warehouses and cleanrooms

  • Perform work in accordance with GMP/GxP requirements and data integrity standards

  • Maintain accurate documentation for work performed in regulated spaces

  • Participate in shutdowns commissioning testing and other critical facility activities

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow OSHA NEC NFPA 70E and site-specific safety requirements

  • Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) arc-flash safety procedures and job hazard analyses

  • Ensure electrical work complies with applicable codes and regulations

  • Participate in safety programs inspections and audits

Documentation & Communication

  • Accurately document completed work in a CMMS such as Maximo Corrigo or equivalent

  • Update electrical labels panels and redline drawings as needed

  • Communicate equipment issues risks and improvement opportunities to leadership

TEAMWORK & FACILITIES SUPPORT

  • Collaborate with technicians engineers supervisors safety teams and facility stakeholders

  • Professionally interact with operations and engineering teams

  • Assist with vendor coordination and contractor escorts when needed

  • Contribute to reliability continuous improvement and facility performance initiatives

WHAT YOU BRING
  • High school diploma or GED

  • 35 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience

  • Hands-on experience with electrical distribution systems and controls

  • Ability to read electrical drawings schematics and one-line diagrams

  • Working knowledge of NEC OSHA and NFPA standards

  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate CMMS/work order systems

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail

NICE-TO-HAVE
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience

  • Pharmaceutical biotech GMP or regulated manufacturing experience

  • Experience working in critical facilities laboratories or cleanrooms

  • Experience with UPS generators ATS and emergency power systems

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

  • Experience in corporate facilities or integrated facilities management environments

PHYSICAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights

  • Ability to access confined spaces when required

  • Ability to wear required PPE

  • Flexibility to work extended hours or respond to emergency situations when needed
