Join our team as a Facilities Coordinator where youll synchronize the activities of the General Services Department for assigned neighborhoods.

The Coordinator will liaise between General Services and resident/staff as well as mange the work of outside contractors.

Compensation: Starting at $25/hour based on experience

How you will make an impact

  • Coordinate re-occupancies of units in assigned neighborhoods

  • Coordinates special projects as a follow up to major issues that impact resident apartments/resident building hallways etc.

  • Select and oversee the work of outside contractors for projects.

  • Communicate with new residents to explain the operation of each department within General Services

  • Investigate complaints suggestions and occurrences

  • Audit all facilities for proper maintenance repair and cleanliness; coordinates needed repairs with the appropriate department(s)

  • Deliver high-quality customer service by building positive relationships and ensuring resident satisfaction.

What you will need

  • Preferred: 1 year experience in an office environment or within a department with responsibility for facilities management

  • Valid drivers license

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely lift carry and move heavy items as needed.

  • Working knowledge of building systems preferred

  • Ability to assess resident or other complaints and resolve disputes in a friendly and professional manner

  • Customer service experience preferred

  • Ability to work autonomously
