Facilities Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Facilities Compliance Specialist in York Pennsylvania for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will serve as a technical resource for facilities compliance supporting regulatory requirements safety standards risk assessments inspections permitting preventative maintenance compliance and corrective-action activities across office manufacturing and warehouse environments.
- Bachelors degree in Facilities Management Engineering or a related technical field.
- 4 years of experience in a full-service facilities-management environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of OSHA NFPA EPA FCC and applicable local building and safety codes.
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance within corporate offices manufacturing plants and/or warehouse environments.
- Experience conducting inspections audits hazard assessments or facility risk assessments.
- Experience identifying operational hazards and supporting corrective actions.
- Experience supporting work permits regulatory inspections testing or preventative-maintenance compliance.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel for data tracking and analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with technical subject-matter experts internal stakeholders contractors and external vendors.
- Serve as a technical advisor to facilities leadership on regulatory safety and operational-compliance matters.
- Review upcoming facilities projects and perform risk assessments to identify and control potential hazards.
- Conduct inspections and audits of active work conditions and site operations.
- Coordinate corrective actions and follow-up activities resulting from compliance reviews.
- Partner with Safety Health and Environmental teams to monitor operations and reduce workplace risk.
- Lead and support Regulatory Inspection Permits and Testing activities.
- Coordinate scheduling planning and procurement requirements for work orders and preventative-maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain frameworks for risk assessment and hazard analysis.
- Support training on facilities compliance and safe-work processes.
- Administer safety documentation work permits and regulatory assessments.
- Track safety and compliance performance metrics using online management systems.
- Prepare reports and presentations for facilities and site leadership.
- Coach employees and contractors on applicable regulatory and safety requirements.
- Support a strong culture of safety compliance and operational excellence.
- Full-time onsite in York Pennsylvania.
- 9/80 schedule.
- Day shift with an approximately 6:00 AM start time.
- No overtime is currently expected.
- $35.10 per hour.
