FAA Test Technician, Sr (#690c)

You will perform assembly disassembly re-work and testing of electrical/electronic equipment to support production and maintenance goals. You will work onsite in company facilities on a first shift schedule (8 hours/day) with possible weekends overtime and a temp-to-hire engagement model. Your work directly impacts product airworthiness production throughput and cross-functional teams that rely on timely accurate testing.

• Perform disassembly assembly re-work and testing of electrical/electronic equipment
• Set up and utilize manual and automated test equipment to conduct tests and troubleshooting of digital and analog circuitry
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose faults and perform failure analysis to the component level
• Record work accurately on maintenance/test records and document test results and non-conformances
• Follow written and verbal instructions and complete work according to specifications with limited supervision
• Maintain a clean orderly and safe workstation; participate in 5S and area efficiency projects
• Assist other departments as needed and complete required training to maintain job proficiency
• Comply with safety-sensitive requirements including FAA drug screening and random testing

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 35 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing/testing environment or completed OJT on at least 10 products
• Strong ability to read schematics and understand circuit function
• Experience using oscilloscopes multimeters LCR meters power analyzers and other test instruments
• Experience with manual and automated test equipment (ATE) and test data logging/analysis tools
• Proven troubleshooting and failure analysis skills on analog and digital circuitry to the component level
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs and perform typical physical tasks of an electronics technician
• Solid verbal and written technical communication skills and general computer literacy (MS Office)

• Prior experience in aerospace or highly regulated industries
• Familiarity programming and operating environmental test chambers

$22.40 - $28.00/hour
