Exterior Cleaner – Weekend

Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday
Shift: 6:00 AM2:30 PM
Weekends & Holidays: Weekend availability required

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Exterior Cleaners to join our team at a busy outdoor shopping mall.

The Exterior Cleaner is responsible for keeping the exterior areas of the mall clean safe and presentable for visitors tenants and employees.

This is an outdoor physically active position. Employees should be prepared to work in a variety of weather conditions including hot weather rain wind cold temperatures and snow.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain exterior parking lot areas.
• Sweep and remove litter debris and garbage from outdoor areas.
• Clean exterior stairs walkways and entrances.
• Clean and maintain elevator areas.
• Clean and maintain compactor areas.
• Assist with general outdoor cleaning throughout the property.
• Operate a golf cart as required.
• Use leaf blowers and other outdoor cleaning equipment.
• Empty garbage and assist with waste removal as required.
• Identify and report hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for visitors and tenants.
• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position is based at an outdoor shopping mall. Employees will spend a significant portion of their shift working outside.

Candidates must be comfortable working in:

• Hot and humid conditions
• Rain
• Wind
• Cold temperatures
• Snow and winter conditions
• Changing weather conditions

The ability to work safely and effectively in varying weather conditions is an essential part of the position.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working outdoors.
• Ability to safely operate a golf cart leaf blower and other equipment.
• Weekend availability is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend reach push and pull.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning duties.
• Ability to work outdoors for the duration of the shift.

Please note: This position is primarily outdoors and requires employees to work in varying weather conditions.
