Exterior Cleaner

Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time
Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour
Schedule: Days will vary
Shift: 3:00 PM11:00 PM
Weekends & Holidays: Required as scheduled

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Exterior Cleaners to join our team at a busy outdoor shopping mall.

The Exterior Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of exterior areas throughout the property including parking lots stairs elevators compactor areas and other common areas.

This is an outdoor physically active position requiring employees to work in a variety of weather conditions throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain exterior parking lot areas.
• Sweep and remove litter and debris.
• Clean exterior stairs walkways and entrances.
• Clean elevator areas.
• Clean and maintain compactor areas.
• Operate a golf cart as required.
• Operate leaf blowers and other outdoor cleaning equipment.
• Assist with garbage and waste removal.
• Maintain general cleanliness throughout the exterior property.
• Identify and report safety hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for visitors and tenants.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position is primarily outdoors at an outdoor shopping mall.

Employees must be comfortable working in:

• Hot weather and humidity
• Rain
• Wind
• Cold temperatures
• Snow and winter conditions
• Other changing weather conditions

Candidates should understand that this position requires working outdoors regardless of weather conditions provided it is safe to do so.

Qualifications :

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working outdoors.
• Ability to safely operate a golf cart leaf blower and other equipment.
• Flexibility to work varying days including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend reach push and pull.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.

Please note: This is an outdoor position. Candidates must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and working evenings weekends and holidays as scheduled.
