Job Description
The Expert Field Service Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role works with advanced and complex systems proactively troubleshoots systems works with mechanical electrical and diesel equipment conducts preventative maintenance and manages parts inventory and anticipates and corrects safety issues related to both Company- and Customer-owned equipment. This position involves direct customer interaction and may require work across multiple systems locations and customers.

- Some Travel Required
- Completion of Driver Application for Employment.
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Completion of required forms
- Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC DISA etc.).
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous technical work experience preferred.
- 37 years of technical work experience.
- Electrical mechanical diesel and/or fusion experience depending on business unit.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision and provide coaching and training to junior-level technicians.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and smart devices.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate it clearly.
- Ability to derive insight from customer experiences to produce outcomes and solve problems in novel and unexpected situations.
The estimated pay range for this position is $32 to $36 per hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills experience and work location.
