Experienced Movers Moving Professionals

Location: Philadelphia PA and surrounding areas (South Jersey Delaware Pennsylvania)

We are hiring reliable hardworking moving professionals to join our team throughout the Philadelphia area.

We have opportunities for Moving Helpers Experienced Movers and Lead Movers/Drivers.

• Moving Helper: $17$20/hour tips
• Experienced Mover: $20$23/hour tips
• Lead Mover / Driver: $23$27/hour tips

Tips are in addition to your hourly pay. Actual tips can vary by customer job crew and performance and are not guaranteed.

Pay is based on experience skills responsibilities and position.

• Professional moving experience is required for Experienced Mover and Lead Mover/Driver positions.
• Moving Helper positions are available for qualified candidates who may have less experience.
• Must have your own reliable car.
• Must be able to drive yourself to assigned job sites.
• Must be able to reliably travel throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
• Must be dependable punctual and ready to work.
• Must be physically capable of safely handling heavy furniture and items including loads up to 200 lbs with appropriate assistance and equipment.
• Must be comfortable working as part of a moving crew.
• Must provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Weekend availability is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading furniture boxes appliances and other items
• Carrying and moving household and commercial belongings
• Wrapping and protecting furniture
• Assisting experienced movers and crew leaders
• Keeping the job site clean and organized
• Following safety procedures and instructions

Previous moving experience is helpful but not required for qualified candidates.

Candidates should have professional moving experience and be comfortable independently handling:

• Residential and/or commercial moves
• Furniture and appliance handling
• Packing and furniture protection
• Truck loading and unloading
• Safe lifting and carrying techniques
• Customer interaction
• Working efficiently as part of a crew

Lead Movers/Drivers will take on additional responsibility including:

• Leading moving crews
• Communicating with customers at the job site
• Coordinating loading and unloading
• Ensuring furniture and belongings are properly protected
• Efficiently organizing truck loads
• Following job instructions and company procedures
• Helping train and direct less-experienced movers
• Driving company vehicles when assigned and qualified

Additional driving requirements may apply to Lead Mover/Driver positions.

All applicants must have reliable personal transportation and be able to meet the crew directly at assigned job sites.

Job locations can vary throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding area (South Jersey Pennsylvania and Delaware) so reliable transportation is essential.
