Experienced Household Facilities Technician in Atlanta, GA

Position: Household Facilities Technician
Location: Marietta GA (Atlanta Area)
Schedule: MondayFriday 9:00 AM5:00 PM
Salary: $40/hour Overtime
Start Date: ASAP

A private family in Marietta GA is seeking an experienced and hands-on Household Facilities Technician to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of their residence. The ideal candidate is proactive highly organized resourceful and able to spot and address issues before they become problems.

This role will work closely with the Estate Manager Property Manager Interior Manager housekeeping team and outside vendors to ensure the property is always well-maintained and guest-ready.

• Handle and coordinate day-to-day maintenance throughout the property
• Monitor residential systems including HVAC plumbing electrical security and AV
• Conduct regular property inspections and proactively identify maintenance or repair needs
• Assist with landscaping seasonal flowers pool maintenance and grounds
• Manage vendors and contractors ensuring work is completed properly on time and within budget
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with service providers when needed
• Coordinate with the Property Manager Interior Manager and housekeeping team
• Assist with logistics and vendor coordination for family events
• Keep storage areas stocked with beverages cleaning supplies and household essentials
• Assist with the familys two small dogs including occasional feeding and walking
• Run errands and assist with additional property needs as they arise

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys being hands-on and takes pride in keeping a property running smoothly. They are detail-oriented efficient and naturally notice what needs attention without having to be asked. They should be comfortable working independently and as part of a household team and be willing to roll up their sleeves when needed.

• Minimum 5 years of property maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of residential systems including HVAC plumbing electrical security and AV
• Experience managing vendors contractors repairs and ongoing maintenance
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with Nines SharePoint and Office 365
• Resourceful solutions-oriented and able to troubleshoot problems
• Flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends as needed
• Comfortable working around and assisting with small dogs
