About the Role
The Executive Assistant will provide strategic executive-level support to two Senior Leadership Team executives within AES US Renewables and Power. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner closely with senior leaders gain exposure to key business priorities and contribute to the success of a growing organization focused on advancing the future of energy.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Proactively manage executives calendars including scheduling appointments coordinating Microsoft Teams meetings prioritizing competing demands anticipating scheduling conflicts and handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Serve as a key point of contact facilitating communication across leadership teams coordinating recurring team meetings and maintaining team collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams Viva Engage and SharePoint.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for executives and key stakeholders including transportation accommodations visas and other logistics as needed.
  • Partner closely with Executive Assistants across AES to ensure executive engagements are coordinated efficiently and effectively.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of meetings team events networking opportunities and other organizational activities.
  • Prepare correspondence presentations reports and other confidential materials while maintaining contact and distribution lists.
  • Manage executive expense reports and reimbursement processes.
  • Monitor departmental expenditures and budget records; support monthly accruals invoice processing purchase order activities and vendor coordination through systems such as SAP ReadSoft and Ariba.
  • Support the creation and refinement of PowerPoint presentations and other communication materials for leadership meetings team updates and internal or external speaking engagements.
  • Collaborate with fellow Executive Assistants providing coordination knowledge sharing and backup support when needed.
  • Support special projects and other administrative or operational initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
  • 3 years of administrative support experience including experience supporting executive-level leaders.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with experience coordinating travel managing expenses and supporting invoice-processing activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook with working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize effectively in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across teams and cultures.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality work.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting senior executives in a corporate or global business environment.
  • Experience working with SAP ReadSoft Ariba or similar financial and procurement systems.
  • Experience supporting presentations communications or event coordination activities.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership accountability and continuous improvement.

The expected salary for this position at commencement of employment is between $87000 and $104550/year; however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes annual bonus. The benefits offered for this position are: medical dental and vision coverage life insurance 401(k) eligibility and paid time off (including vacation sick leave time and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
