Under the general direction of the CHHS Dean the Executive Assistant provides coordination and support for the work of the Dean. The incumbent is expected to have a thorough knowledge of the college the university and its organization and all policies and procedures.

• Provide high-level executive administrative support to the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services.
• Oversee the administrative tasks and customer service for the CHHS Deans Office front desk.
• Faculty Support and Administration: Prepares and collects faculty Assigned Time and Additional Employment request forms and obtains final certifications from faculty for work accomplished on all AE/AT being initiated funded or requested by the Dean or CHHS Administration.

1.0 time-base 40 hours per week.

This is a temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.

Salary placement is determined by the education experience and qualifications the candidate brings to the position internal equity and the hiring departments fiscal resources.

• Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $4799 (Step #1) - $5850 (Step #11) per month commensurate with candidates education experience skills and training.
• CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $4799 (Step #1) - $6992 (Step #20) per month.

Possess strong organizational and communication skills to communicate effectively with ethnically and culturally diverse faculty staff students and the general public. Thorough detailed knowledge of applicable university infrastructure policies and procedures. Have a thorough knowledge of English grammar spelling and punctuation and be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing. Expertise in using office software packages technology and systems. Ability to effectively handle interpersonal interactions at all levels and handle highly sensitive interpersonal situations

Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies procedures and guidelines including but not limited to safety civility information security and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the universitys commitment to a vision of excellence.

Equivalent to a bachelors degree in a related field required.
