Department Summary The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of North Texas System College of Pharmacy (UNT-SCP) will contribute to the development of the educational research and service programs of the Department. The faculty will report to the Chair of the Department. The faculty of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences will provide expertise toward the basic sciences side of the pharmaceutical sciences such as pharmaceutical discovery formulation and delivery. |
Position Overview The Executive Director of Research Services provides operational oversight of the Pharmaceutical Analysis Core Laboratory (PACL) and supports the research infrastructure of the College of Pharmacy and Health Professions. Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean of Research this position is responsible for the day-to-day management of PACL operations shared analytical instrumentation laboratory compliance activities equipment management laboratory budgeting and personnel supervision. The Executive Director works collaboratively with faculty and research staff to expand utilization of the PACL develop federal equipment grant proposals and maintain a high-quality shared research environment. The position also provides operational support for research space management laboratory compliance and institutional research reporting in collaboration with the Senior Associate Dean of Research and the College Program Manager. |
Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree and six (6) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
