The Environmental Services Department plays a vital role in ensuring that the hospitalremainsclean and safe for patients staff and visitors.As a member of this team the main dutieswill be to clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital including patient rooms offices waiting areas and meeting rooms.

The Environmental Services Technician Iis responsible forexecuting the daily duties required toestablishandmaintaina safe hygienic and aesthetically pleasing care environment. While executing the assignedtasks the EVS Tech will have contact with patients visitors and clinical and non-clinical staff.Contact mayinclude physical psychological educational and safety related and should beappropriate tothe specificdemographics of patients served in assigned service areas. Responsible for ensuringtimelyroom turnsrelated to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention.The environmental services technicianin accordance withorganizational standards of quality is anessential contributor to cleaning disinfection infectionpreventionand patient experience.

Job Description:

Requirements:

• Environmental Services Customer Service or Hospitality experience preferred
