Job Summary

We are seeking an Event Manager to oversee the planning organization and execution of company events and scheduled programs. This position takes ownership of event details from initial preparation through completion coordinating schedules staffing requirements materials vendors and on-site activities.

The Event Manager will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure events are properly prepared run according to plan and provide an organized and professional experience for attendees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned events from initial planning through completion
  • Develop event timelines schedules checklists and operational plans
  • Coordinate venues vendors suppliers and other external partners
  • Confirm event requirements schedules deliveries and logistical arrangements
  • Determine materials equipment signage displays and supplies needed for each event
  • Coordinate ordering preparation transportation and organization of event materials
  • Maintain event calendars and monitor important deadlines
  • Coordinate staffing schedules and communicate individual event assignments
  • Provide event teams with schedules responsibilities and logistical information
  • Oversee event setup and confirm spaces are prepared according to established plans
  • Monitor activities throughout events and address operational needs as they arise
  • Coordinate attendee flow event activities and general on-site operations
  • Serve as a point of contact for venues vendors and event staff during scheduled programs
  • Respond to schedule changes and unexpected logistical issues
  • Ensure event materials and presentation areas remain organized throughout each program
  • Monitor inventory and arrange replenishment of frequently used event materials
  • Track event-related purchases invoices and basic expense information
  • Maintain accurate event documentation and activity records
  • Conduct post-event reviews and document operational observations
  • Prepare basic event summaries and recommendations following completion
  • Manage multiple upcoming events and priorities simultaneously


Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Event Management Hospitality Marketing Communications Business or a related field preferred
  • 12 years of experience in events hospitality event operations marketing events customer engagement or a related environment preferred
  • Relevant internship or hands-on event experience may also be considered
  • Strong organizational and event-planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple schedules deadlines and logistical requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable coordinating with vendors venues team members and outside contacts
  • Ability to remain organized in active event environments
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to adjust quickly when schedules or event requirements change
  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate the activities of event staff and project teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Google Workspace scheduling tools or similar business software
  • Availability for scheduled events including occasional evenings or weekends when required
