Job Summary

We are seeking an Event Assistant to provide hands-on support for scheduled events brand programs and customer-focused activities. This position assists with event preparation organization attendee needs and day-of activities to help ensure each program is properly prepared and runs smoothly.

The Event Assistant will work alongside event and marketing team members while supporting a variety of assignments before during and following scheduled events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing for upcoming events and scheduled programs
  • Organize event materials supplies signage displays and informational resources
  • Help prepare event spaces and customer-facing areas prior to opening
  • Support event setup according to established plans and layouts
  • Welcome attendees and provide general event information
  • Assist with check-in registration directions and routine attendee questions
  • Help attendees locate activities resources or appropriate team members
  • Distribute approved event and informational materials
  • Monitor event areas and replenish supplies throughout scheduled activities
  • Keep displays materials and presentation areas organized
  • Assist with product demonstrations and informational activities when required
  • Communicate attendee questions and requests to appropriate team members
  • Support event staff with scheduled activities and program requirements
  • Help monitor attendee flow and maintain organized event areas
  • Gather general attendee comments and feedback
  • Assist with inventory counts of event materials and supplies
  • Help pack organize and store materials following events
  • Support event breakdown and ensure materials are properly accounted for
  • Follow established event presentation and brand guidelines
  • Complete additional event support assignments based on program needs


Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College coursework or an Associates degree in Event Management Hospitality Marketing Communications Business or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in events hospitality customer service retail marketing programs or another customer-facing environment preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly professional and dependable approach
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Comfortable assisting attendees and answering general questions
  • Ability to follow event plans schedules and instructions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in an active environment
