Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to support construction preconstruction activities including estimating bidding budgeting procurement and project planning. The Estimator will work closely with owners consultants subcontractors suppliers and internal project teams to develop accurate and competitive estimates and support successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates budgets bids and proposals for prospective construction projects.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze plans specifications scopes of work and construction documents.
- Solicit review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Coordinate procurement and bidding activities throughout the preconstruction process.
- Identify scope gaps risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support value engineering and constructability reviews.
- Communicate with owners consultants subcontractors suppliers and internal project teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors suppliers and industry partners.
- Assist with the transition from preconstruction to construction.
- Manage multiple estimates priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Support the development of accurate competitive and well-planned project solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in construction estimating preconstruction or a related construction role.
- Strong knowledge of construction plans specifications scopes of work and quantity takeoffs.
- Ability to develop accurate and detailed cost estimates and project budgets.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfortable communicating with clients consultants subcontractors suppliers and internal teams.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project requirements.

This is an on-site Estimator position in Reno NV. The role involves regular coordination with clients consultants subcontractors suppliers and internal project teams throughout the estimating and preconstruction process.
Compensation: $75000.00 - $105000.00 per year
