Location:

This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Port St. Lucie Florida with a Monday through Friday schedule and the chance to work closely with estimating operations and project leadership.

Note:

Candidates must have 3 years of directly relevant civil site development and underground utilities estimating experience including strong hands-on experience with AGTEK and HCSS HeavyBid.

Job Description

• Analyze construction plans specifications bid documents and project requirements to develop accurate competitive estimates.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for earthwork underground utilities roadway paving concrete labor materials equipment and subcontracted scopes using AGTEK.
• Build detailed estimates and competitive bid proposals using HCSS HeavyBid.
• Solicit review and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop labor equipment material and production-rate assumptions.
• Identify project risks scope gaps cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Maintain historical cost information unit pricing bid files and estimating documentation.
• Partner with operations and project management teams during project handoff.
• Support bid strategy project pursuits and multiple concurrent estimating deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3 years of heavy civil site development or underground utilities construction estimating experience.
• 3 years of experience performing quantity takeoffs using AGTEK.
• 3 years of experience preparing estimates and bid proposals using HCSS HeavyBid.
• Strong experience with earthwork underground utilities roadway paving concrete or related civil construction scopes.
• Ability to read and interpret plans specifications and contract documents.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods materials equipment production rates and cost development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization communication prioritization and deadline-management skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
