Location

This is an on-site role based in Irondale Alabama offering a collaborative office environment where estimators operations and leadership work closely together.

Note

This role requires at least 2 years of direct deep foundation estimating experience; general construction or estimating experience alone will not meet the minimum qualifications.

Job Description

• Prepare and lead detailed estimates for deep foundation scopes including drilled shafts driven pile earth retention and ground improvement.
• Review drawings specifications geotechnical reports and bid documents to develop accurate takeoffs and cost models.
• Build production assumptions labor equipment material subcontractor and indirect cost estimates.
• Identify scope gaps exclusions alternates constructability concerns and project risks impacting pricing and execution.
• Coordinate bid packages clarifications and proposal inputs with internal teams subcontractors suppliers and clients.
• Partner closely with operations and field leadership to validate means and methods schedules and production expectations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors engineers and project partners.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on deep foundation estimating experience is required.
• Bachelors degree in construction management engineering business or related field preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong plan reading quantity takeoff cost development and Excel skills.
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple bids and deadlines.
