Heres how a(n) Estimating Student for our Nassaloffice contributes to our team:
- Review and perform quantity survey assignments with lead estimator
- Performs general sub-trade solicitation duties
- Bid document control
- Performs bid day assignments
- Sub-trade bid reviews and recapping
- Visits job sites periodically
- Use of in-house estimating software (BEST Estimating)
- Develops relationships with subcontractors
- Other duties as assigned
- Desire a career in construction Project Management Field Supervision or Estimating.
- Pursuing an associates or bachelors degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating Technology Construction Management or related discipline.
- Any experience using the following: On-Screen Takeoff Microsoft Excel and Word Revit Acrobat and other computer software.
- Required to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with project personnel suppliers subcontractors and owners.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications and perform quantity take-offs.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Available to work in Orlando FL full-time from May to August.
- Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party.
