Location: Irvine CA Primarily in-office with the potential for remote workdays once you are established with our team. We value in-person collaboration while offering opportunities for added flexibility over time.

Note: Candidates must have an active California State Bar membership a J.D. from an accredited law school and at least 1 year of estate planning experience with basic tax knowledge. Hands-on estate planning document drafting experience is essential. This is not a fully remote position.

Job Description

• Draft and prepare estate planning documents including trusts wills powers of attorney healthcare directives and asset transfer documents.
• Work directly with clients to understand their estate planning goals and help develop effective solutions.
• Collaborate with partners associates and paralegals to deliver accurate high-quality legal services.
• Apply estate planning principles and basic tax knowledge to client matters.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Develop expertise in more advanced estate planning techniques and wealth protection strategies over time.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• 1 years of relevant estate planning experience preferably in a law firm or in-house legal environment.
• Experience drafting trusts wills and related estate planning documents.
• Working knowledge of basic estate planning and tax concepts.
• Strong drafting communication organization and client relationship skills.
• Collaborative mindset attention to detail and willingness to learn.
