ERP Security Analyst Details

Essential Job Duties:

  • Manage system security within the architecture of the HR/Finance/Supply Chain system and middleware.
  • Perform routine break/fix support and regression testing and support the inbound/outbound interfaces to the system and middleware.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis coding clear documentation and problem resolution.
  • Analyze and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.
  • Understand and follow Data Governance and ensure attention to data quality.
  • Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
  • Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards.
  • Configure maintain and advise on security within Workday application. This includes domain security policies roles and role assignments.
  • Coordinate with vendors to understand new technology scope and association with new functionality and security.
  • Develop and maintain awareness of data security and comply with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in report reviews including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards.
  • Stay updated on new security features within the applications future roadmap and implement where possible.
  • Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy.
  • Demonstrate proof of security controls during internal and external audits.
  • May be required to be on call.

Knowledge skills and abilities:

  • Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL SOAP REST and WS standards).
  • Strong technical experience with XML and Java.
  • Knowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) Workday Studio Workday Report Writer and iLoad).
  • Understand basic database architecture tables functional interactions and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and leadership.
  • Strong problem solving troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently providing timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
  • Solid understanding of Workday security features and controls.
  • Ability to accurately collect information to understand and assess functional department needs and situation.
  • Working knowledge of HR/Finance/supply chain information systems data models organization structures and roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and IT teams.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable enforcing adherence to security policies and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology Computer Science Software Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
  • 2 years of experience with HR/Finance/SC application security.
  • HR/Finance/SC functional experience preferred.
  • Workday PRO Certification preferred.
