Location: Burlington VT. Job Type: Travel contract 13 weeks. Category: Environmental Services. Shift: 8-hour Days. Start Date: 10/12/2026. Pay: $3742 per week ($94 per hour; $41 non-taxable per hour).
Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Equipment Processor to join a top healthcare facilitys Environmental Services team in Burlington VT. Responsibilities:
Collect clean disinfect and sterilize reusable medical equipment according to established protocols. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and washers. Inspect equipment for damage or defects and report issues to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment inventory. Ensure compliance with infection control standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely availability of sterile equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
Previous experience in environmental services or a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift carry and move equipment as needed.
