This role is responsible for helping maintain the health appearance and playability of the resorts golf courses and grounds through the safe application of pesticides and fertilizers operation of specialized spray equipment pest monitoring and regulatory compliance. The equipment operator plays an important role in preserving the high standards of excellence and presentation expected throughout the Day-to-DayApply pesticides and fertilizers to maintain the health beauty and continued growth of golf course turf and property conditions and identify target and treat pest-related hand-carried sprayers self-contained sprayers tractor-drawn sprayers and other assigned company vehicles and equipment as required to perform assigned all procedures for the safe handling storage and application of pesticides and organization and cleanliness of the chemical storage document daily chemical applications including products used quantities applied equipment utilized and weather interpret and follow pesticide application maps and independently while supporting overall golf course and grounds maintenance and maintain knowledge of pesticides fertilizers and their proper for and successfully obtain the Florida Turf and Ornamental required licensing and certifications as Sets You ApartExperience in golf course maintenance or a related turf management environment of pesticide and fertilizer application practices or the ability to learn through training and licensing drivers license to work outdoors in all weather to safely work with pesticides fertilizers and related application to operate motor vehicles and specialized spraying to stand and walk for extended periods while performing assigned to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal to learn chemical application procedures recordkeeping requirements pest identification and treatment to obtain and maintain the Florida Department of Agriculture Turf and Ornamental In It For YouWe believe that exceptional hospitality starts with exceptional people.
