Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator I to join our 2nd shift production this role you will operate printing equipment monitor product quality perform routine equipment maintenance and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment according to job specifications quality standards and established procedures.
• Perform daily weekly and monthly equipment maintenance to help ensure reliable operation and quality output.
• Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency.
• Verify paper type size color and quantity before production.
• Check plates to ensure the correct format is being used.
• Visually inspect printed materials throughout each run to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work with the Production Team to prioritize jobs and adjust production as deadlines or customer requirements change.
• Follow all safety requirements for the job equipment and work area.

Your Shift: 2nd Shift Monday Thursday 3:00 p.m. 1:30 a.m.

You Must Have:

• Ability to set and adjust equipment mechanisms to required tolerances.
• Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with production equipment.
• Ability to read and understand job instructions specifications and procedures.

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operate machinery and handle products including printed materials.
• Frequently required to move throughout the facility.
• Regularly move up to 25 pounds through lifting pushing pulling and/or carrying.

We Would Also Prefer:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working with close tolerances.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good color discernment.
