Equipment Operator IICherry Point MCAS NCFRCE Contract Collective Bargaining Agreement Position (CBA)ASCI Federal Services (ASCI) is hiring an Equipment Operator II to support operations at Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) in Cherry Point this role you will safely transport aircraft parts tooling equipment and materials across multiple facilities using Mule Train and forklift equipment to support production schedules and maintain flight readiness. Your work directly supports aircraft readiness and mission success for the U.S. Navy and Marine position is expected to support a first shift schedule. However shift assignments may change based on operational needs or contract requirements. Overtime may be has supported supply chain and operational programs for more than 20 years with a strong focus on safety accountability and workforce stability. This position works closely with dispatch shift managers and operations personnel in a structured team-oriented ResponsibilitiesThe Equipment Operator II performs Mule Train and forklift operations throughout the FRCE installation. Responsibilities include:Transport aircraft parts components calibrated tooling supplies and materials between facilitiesFollow designated routes to ensure accountability and on-time deliveryPerform forklift services throughout FRCE and applicable adjacent outlying and leased locationsMove bulk aircraft parts components plant equipment tools and hazardous and non-hazardous materialsLoad and unload delivery trucks tractor trailers and commercial vendor vehiclesProvide forklift lift support for the removal and installation of helicopter blades as requested; this position does not perform the actual blade removal or installationCommunicate completion of assignments to dispatch via radioSecure and cover materials prior to transportComplete pre-trip inspections and required documentationPerform operational checks before useMaintain accurate activity logsOperate vehicles and equipment safely in accordance with site protocols and ASCI safety standardsMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum six (6) years of motor vehicle operating experienceValid Class C Drivers License with a clean driving recordCurrent forklift certificationU.S. Citizenship required for government site accessAbility to pass a government-administered background investigationAbility to obtain Electric Cart and Mule Tug certification within six (6) months of hirePhysical RequirementsAbility to walk climb and work in indoor and outdoor environmentsAbility to lift up to 45 poundsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this QualificationsCDL Class A or BPassenger and Combination endorsementsOversize Load Escort certificationHourly wage and benefits are determined in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
