We are seeking an experiencedEpic Patient Access RTE & Referrals Analystto join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing configuring supporting and optimizing the Epic Patient Access suite includingReal-Time Eligibility (RTE)andReferrals. The candidate will work closely with patient access registration scheduling revenue cycle and clinical teams to streamline patient intake insurance verification referral management and front-end revenue cycle processes.
Key Responsibilities
Configure maintain and support the Epic Patient Access RTE and Referrals applications.
Gather analyze and document business and operational requirements from patient access scheduling and revenue cycle stakeholders.
Design build test validate and deploy Epic Patient Access enhancements and system changes.
Configure and support patient registration insurance verification eligibility checks referral workflows and authorization processes.
Support Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) transactions and troubleshoot payer connectivity and eligibility issues.
Build and maintain referral workflows work queues scheduling rules and insurance-related configurations.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely production support.
Participate in Epic implementations upgrades optimization initiatives and enhancement projects.
Perform unit testing integrated testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Develop and maintain build documentation workflow diagrams technical specifications and support documentation.
Collaborate with other Epic application analysts to ensure seamless integration with Cadence Prelude Resolute MyChart and other Epic modules.
Ensure all configurations comply with Epic best practices healthcare regulations and organizational governance standards.
Requirements
3 years of hands-on experiencewithEpic Patient Access Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) and Referrals.
Epic Patient Access Certification is mandatory.
Experience in Epic build configuration implementation testing and production support.
Strong understanding of patient registration scheduling insurance eligibility verification referrals prior authorizations and front-end revenue cycle workflows.
Knowledge of patient access insurance verification referral management authorizations and revenue cycle operations.
Experience integrating Patient Access with Epic Cadence Prelude Resolute MyChart and other Epic applications.
Understanding of Epic implementation methodology and healthcare interoperability.
Strong documentation stakeholder management and communication skills.
Required Skills:
3 years of hands-on experience with Epic Patient Access Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) and Referrals. Epic Patient Access Certification is mandatory. Experience in Epic build configuration implementation testing and production support.
