ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES WORKER
Full-Time $19.28 - $21.29/hour based on experience - Additional $1.00 for weekend shifts
As an Environmental Services Worker your work will help support a safe clean enjoyable and dignified environment for our residents while you enjoy a workplace rooted in compassion and respect. The schedule will vary depending on community needs hours 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with varied weekdays weekends and some Holidays.
About the Role
Our Environmental Services Workers help ensure that Kendal at Ithaca remains a clean safe and welcoming environment for residents visitors and this full-time role you will provide housekeeping and floor care services throughout the community. This position requires attention to detail a positive attitude and a passion for quality service in support of our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties including mopping vacuuming dusting spot cleaning and laundry
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners
- Use cleaning agents safely and effectively to maintain cleanliness throughout resident and community areas
- Maintain floors and surfaces in accordance with infection control and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service and interact with residents respectfully and compassionately
- Contribute to a clean safe and organized work environment in alignment with Kendal values
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial housekeeping or floor care experience preferred
- Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safely use cleaning agents
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
