Job Summary
This dynamic role works within the Environmental Initiatives team to achieve renewable energy targets and carbon credit procurement (e.g. MWhs MMT C02e date online location etc.) support the associated project/deal pipeline and portfolio and support sourcing and managing the environmental attribute credits (EACs) and the broader portfolio management. Cross functional collaboration is needed as the role will interact with finance tax and accounting legal procurement and government will work closely with subject matter experts in renewable energy deals and carbon markets to support deal development transactions and fulfillment. Key tasks include managing the portfolio assets (ex: EACs or credits) and the associated registries where credits are housed; tracking and preparing reports on portfolio status for the team and for management; supporting due diligence on potential transaction partners or service providers; and supporting access to high-quality carbon credits for our supply chain actors. n
5 years of supporting corporations with the provision of renewable energy and/or emission reduction solutions (ex: in voluntary carbon markets) for fulfillment of compliance or voluntary objectivesnnFamiliarity with environmental attribute certificates in energy and carbonCollaborative team player.
