Epcon Partners is seeking an experienced Environmental Inspector for an active pipeline/infrastructure project in the Sioux Falls South Dakota area.

Candidates must currently reside in the local area no per diem or relocation offered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor construction activities for compliance with environmental permits regulations and project specifications
• Inspect erosion and sediment control measures wetland/waterbody crossings and restoration efforts
• Document daily activities non-compliance issues and corrective actions
• Coordinate with construction crews project management and regulatory agencies
• Ensure adherence to federal state and local environmental requirements (e.g. Clean Water Act SWPPP)

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an Environmental Inspector on pipeline or heavy civil construction projects
• Working knowledge of erosion/sediment control and environmental permitting requirements
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Must be local to Sioux Falls SD able to start with no travel/lodging support

Certifications preferred: CPESC CESSWI or equivalent
