We are looking for a Staff Geologist Engineer or Scientist to join our Long Beach/Los Angeles California team. We are EnSafe Inc. an employee-owned global professional services firm.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will:

• Perform Phase I/II environmental site assessments
• Prepare work plans
• Conduct site investigation activities (sampling of soil groundwater surface water indoor air vapor intrusion soil gas drinking water and building materials)
• Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists including data collection for permitting and/or registration; regulatory compliance evaluation and assessment; and preparation of plans and reports.
• Field documentation
• Assisting in authoring technical reports

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:

• Requires a minimum of a BS (MS preferred) in Geology Engineering or other Science.
• 0-2 years of experience (previous internships are helpful)
• Professional registration certification GID geotechnical and/or geophysics experience are a plus.
• Preferred: EIT PE PG and the ability to obtain a PE/PG license in other states.
• Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft programs including Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Regional travel likely
• Occasional weekend work is required.
