Our Northeast Division is seeking a dynamic Entry Level Scientist to join our Glastonbury CT office. Youll be joining a well-respected and award-winning group where career development training and mentoring co-exist with diverse civil environmental water resources and traffic/transportation projects in a fast-paced and rewarding work environment

Your Responsibilities as a Scientist 1 - Staff Scientist:

• Collect soil water air stormwater and/or sediment samples utilizing different sampling techniques.
• Assist with due diligence (ASTM Phase I) projects.
• Gather analyze and interpret data.
• Assist with wetland delineation and natural resource permitting projects.
• Actively develop your own career growth with opportunities to assist with field and reporting tasks.
• Work directly with staff and management-level team members with field and reporting responsibilities.

What were looking for:

• BS in Geology Hydrogeology Environmental Science or other related field.
• 0-2years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection.
• The ability to successfully multi-task safety awareness and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.
• Valid drivers license good driving history and reliable transportationare required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
