The Field Technician is a hands-on outdoor role where youll test materials like concrete and soil on active construction sites. Work Environment

• Outdoor active job sites (heat cold varying conditions)
• Standing walking lifting up to 50 lbs (occasionally more with assistance)
• Overtime and flexible hours may be required based on project needs

Salary & Benefits Information

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skillset experience qualifications and other job-related duties.

What youll do:

• Perform field testing on soil concrete and other construction materials
• Observe site activities and document results
• Work with construction plans specs and field data
• Communicate with project teams and clients

• Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate reports

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

• No experience required - we will train entry-level candidates and encourage them to apply
• Valid Drivers License and reliable driving record is required
• Effective communication skills (written verbal and listening) and solid interpersonal skills are required
• Basic math calculator and computer skills are required
• The ability to read and understand work plans is required
• Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift move push and pull up to 50 pounds if needed. Occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound
• Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)
• Ability to climb occasionally

Preferred Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• Experience performing field and/or construction materials testing and/or inspections is preferred
• Industry relevant certifications are preferred (ACI ICC DOT)
