Entry-Level Carpenter Retail Construction

We are looking for motivated Entry-Level Carpenters who want to learn the trade develop new skills and build a long-term career in construction.

What Youll Be Doing

As an Entry-Level Carpenter youll work alongside experienced carpenters and foremen while gaining hands-on experience in a variety of construction scopes including:

• Installation of retail fixtures displays décor packages and millwork
• Installation of wall panels trim doors hardware and accessories
• Assisting with framing drywall rough carpentry and interior finishes
• Measuring cutting assembling and installing construction materials
• Loading unloading and organizing materials and tools
• Maintaining a clean safe and organized work area
• Learning to read plans layouts and project drawings
• Safely operating hand tools and power tools
• Supporting project teams in active retail environments

Every project is an opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience working on nationally recognized retail construction projects.

What Were Looking For

• 1 years of construction carpentry or related trade experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Willingness to learn carpentry and construction methods
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to project locations and stay up to 2 weeks at a time as project schedules require
• Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
