Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking an Entry Level Analytical Scientist to join our growing Biochemistry team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in chemistry biochemistry biology or a related scientific discipline who are eager to develop their technical skills in a regulated laboratory environment.

In this role youll gain exposure to analytical testing techniques regulatory laboratory practices and industry-standard instrumentation while contributing to work that supports the development and safety of products that improve lives around the world.

What Youll Do

• Perform laboratory testing following established methods protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Generate review and document scientific data in accordance with GMP and GLP requirements
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation including HPLC and GC systems
• Prepare samples reagents standards and laboratory solutions
• Accurately record observations and experimental results
• Support ongoing studies and projects by following established procedures and timelines
• Collaborate with scientists and laboratory teams to ensure quality accuracy and efficiency
• Contribute to a safe organized and compliant laboratory environment

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biochemistry Biology Chemical Engineering Pharmaceutical Sciences or another related scientific discipline
• Ability to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic or industry experience with HPLC GC or other analytical instrumentation
• Exposure to GLP GMP or regulated laboratory environments
• Familiarity with LIMS or electronic laboratory documentation systems
• Laboratory coursework internships undergraduate research or industry experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new techniques and follow detailed procedures

Position is full-time position Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Columbia MO are encouraged to apply.
