Enterprise Generative AI Platform Engineer
Lets do this. Lets change the this vital role you will help Amgen turn approved AI capabilities into practical responsible and repeatable solutions. This individual contributor will support platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise custom GPTs and related services; connect user needs with platform capability; guide use-case intake; and create reusable guidance. You will partner with Product Engineering Security Privacy Compliance Legal and business teams to improve adoption and measurable value.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support enterprise generative AI capabilities including ChatGPT Enterprise custom GPTs and related tools.
- Help teams clarify use cases assess fit and risk and identify an appropriate delivery path.
- Turn user feedback into prioritized requirements reusable patterns templates and self-service guidance.
- Partner with Product Engineering Security Privacy Compliance and Legal teams to support responsible use and practical governance.
- Support pilots workshops office hours and demonstrations that build confidence and surface adoption barriers.
- Track adoption and feedback then communicate platform updates and recommendations for improvement.

Must-Have Skills:
- Experience in enterprise technology technical enablement internal tools product solutions or a related field.
- Practical familiarity with generative AI platforms custom assistants or GPTs and common enterprise use cases.
- Ability to assess use cases for user value feasibility risk and scalability.
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills including translating technical capabilities into clear guidance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business engineering security and governance partners.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with ChatGPT Enterprise custom GPTs or comparable generative AI platforms.
- Experience supporting technology adoption through training office hours or communities of practice.
- Familiarity with responsible AI privacy information security or access management.
- Experience in biotechnology pharmaceuticals healthcare or another regulated industry.
Education and Professional Certifications
- Masters degree with 2 years of experience in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering Product Management Business or a related field
- OR
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering Product Management Business or a related field
- Relevant certifications in generative AI cloud platforms product management program management change management or information security are a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Clear written verbal facilitation and presentation skills.
- Curiosity initiative and the ability to learn new capabilities quickly.
- Organized approach to managing priorities and following through on commitments.
- Collaborative team-oriented approach with global and virtual partners.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and qualifications.
