Project Overview

• This role will support the client Data Governance Program - focusing on enabling data stewardship improving the quality of our data assets increasing data security and protection simplifying data integration and establishing better audit trails on data usage.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Conduct data discovery stakeholder interview and workshops to collect business data processes with business and IT stakeholders.
• Identify data sets develop data flows understand data-related processes and identify key data issues within business areas.
• Create Data Discovery metrics & presentation.
• Onboard and operationalize Business Glossary into Collibra the Data Governance tool.
• Facilitate business with dataset onboarding and report certification in Collibra.
• Support the Data Governance Lead to integrate data governance solutions.
• Liaison with key stakeholders on DG initiatives within their lines of business.
• This role will also be responsible for some reporting (Power BI Tableau Advanced Excel etc.).

Skills

• Working experience in Data Governance or Data Management area.
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance & Quality - policies processes and tools.
• Strong presentation & communication skills are required.
• Advanced Excel skills Power BI and able to create reports / dashboards for senior leaders.
• Working in Agile environments.

Education & Certifications

• Undergraduate degree is required. Minimum of 1 year of work experience in Data Governance or Data Management.
