Engineering Technician

PGS Worldwide is seeking Engineering Technicians in New Orleans Louisiana for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will support electronic mechanical electromechanical and optical equipment through assembly troubleshooting calibration testing adjustment and maintenance activities.

• Experience working with electronic mechanical electromechanical or optical equipment.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Ability to follow written and verbal technical instructions.
• Experience troubleshooting testing calibrating or maintaining equipment and components.
• Ability to perform calibration and alignment checks.
• Ability to document test results in established formats.
• Ability to make equipment adjustments modifications and component replacements as directed.

• Construct troubleshoot test calibrate adjust and maintain equipment components devices and systems.
• Work from engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Operate related test and production equipment.
• Conduct tests and document results.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks.
• Make adjustments modifications and replacements as required.
• Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions used in technical operations.

• $27.00 per hour.
