Job Summary

- You will perform customer liaison duties prepare contract specifications and government estimates and material identification and services procurement for the Facilities Maintenance Department.
- You will support the basic maintenance and repair requirements of the buildings and structures aboard MCAS Cherry Point and its outlying fields.
- The incumbent receive review and analyze assigned work requests for applicability and appropriateness in accordance with provisions and directives of Marine Corps Real Property Facilities Manual.
- You will provide technical assistance to maintenance personnel when service ticket response indicates additional clarification and evaluation is necessary to complete the maintenance requirement.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD) the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- Must possess and maintain a valid state drivers license.
- Employee is subject to callback for work other than normal duty hours which may include evenings weekends and/or holidays.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying technical engineering methods and practices to support development repair modification or installation of building systems or components; planning and estimating facility maintenance and repair projects; and inspecting facilities to determine necessary repairs.
