Job Summary
The Engineering Systems Specialist will support maintain and enhance the engineering systems and tools that drive our product development and innovation efforts. This role bridges the gap between engineering IT and operations ensuring that our design tools data systems and workflows function efficiently and effectively. Provides technical support and administration for engineering department in many areas and applications (examples include: Windchill Decisions SharePoint Power BI and Microsoft Office Suite etc.). Makes recommendation of applications to be used for engineering systems. Performs installation configuration and maintenance for end-users of systems. Authors technical manuals specifications training service requests and standard operating procedures in relation to department systems and operations. Manages private consultants involved with customizing configuring implementing and administering various software applications that are utilized by the department.
