Scope:

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising Engineering department activities. Supervise engineers technicians and other personnel involved in the design and development of engineering projects. Supervise direct and indirect reports to ensure both internal and external customers are satisfied with the development and delivery of products and services. Monitor and support programs and projects to the extent needed to ensure the requirements budgets and schedules are being met. Promote a rigorous engineering discipline and a culture of following best practices. Responsible for multiple personnel-related activities including interviewing employee relations department relations training and performance development.

Duties:

• Supervise product development activities and provide direction in coordination with other departments from Business Development Quality and Process Engineering.
• Supervise Engineering resources with focus on vision goals and targets.
• Provide resource planning for current workload period and future workload based on Strategic Growth Plans.
• Provide staff resources and track budget constraints. Provide optimized internal and external customers satisfaction.
• Participate and support failure analysis with the focus on structured problem solving.
• Monitor weekly labor activities to ensure sufficient utilization.
• Identify and clear obstacles for direct and indirect reports.
• Participate in gated internal and external design reviews.
• Foster an atmosphere of honestyintegrity attitude and work ethic.

Education and Experience:

Education:Bachelor Degree in Electrical Computer or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 5 Years Relevant Experience

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
