Engineering Manager, Siri App (iOS and macOS)

Apple Intelligence is changing how customers around the world use their devices and the new Siri is central to that. As an Engineering Manager on the Siri team you will lead the engineers building the Siri app across iOS and macOS and bring new Siri AI capabilities to the whole operating system. Were looking for a hands-on technical leader who raises the bar for engineering quality and helps set Siris direction.

This is a hands-on technical management role. You will go deep on architecture code and performance with your team and also explain the bigger picture clearly to partners and leadership. You will work with sibling OS teams and partners in Design Product AI/ML and Quality to turn new ideas into polished experiences. You will also lead the way in using agentic coding and AI-driven testing to change how we build software.

B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experiencenProven experience managing engineering teams including hiring and growing engineers into technical leadersnDeep expertise in Swift and SwiftUInHands-on experience with agentic coding tools including leading their adoption across a teamnStrong product sense with a track record of shipping great customer experiencesnTrack record of leading cross-functional projects to ship with excellent communication skills

Strong command of Swift Concurrency and performance tuning with tools such as InstrumentsnStrong background in automated testing (XCTest XCUITest Swift Testing)nExperience using AI-driven approaches to UI testing and validationnOS and system-level integration experience on iOS and macOS (e.g. App Intents extensions IPC)nUIKit and AppKit experience alongside SwiftUInExperience building AI-powered conversational or voice experiences
