Engineering Manager Hardware Validation

In this position the candidate will be managing a team of engineers for the Hardware Validation Engineering (HVE) team working on post-Silicon hardware system validation for next generation Mac and Data Center systems. Our Engineering Team is responsible for testing and debugging issues on new system hardware thru the full product development cycle. Your team will be key technical contributors to the silicon and product build phases and will utilize your in-depth software silicon and system knowledge to target testing on new silicon and system architectures.

The manager will be responsible to work with cross functional teams include Software Silicon and Hardware engineering and program managements organizations on test execution deliverables and debugging failures with these teams as well as external vendors to arrive at root this work you will need to analyze large data sets to find trends and anomalies in silicon or system behavior and collaborate with your engineering team on the disposition of software and test failures to highlight failures. This will require reviewing system and silicon test coverage and working with cross functional Platform Architecture and Software teams on enhancements and changes as well as representing validation status and issue debugs in cross functional and executive meetings.

The candidate must possess a Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer of 4 years of experience working on Test or experience in pre-silicon or post-silicon background in computer architecture and IO protocols (i.e. PCIe USB)nProgramming experience in Python C Shell communication and teamwork skills.

Familiar with System Power management and automation experience and large scale analysis tools like Tableau JMP and Splunk.
