Job Summary
The Opportunity:
The Engineering Lead will provide personnel project and technical leadership for the RET team supporting the reverse engineering and replication of UAS threats. The role requires a strong engineering foundation and the ability to understand technical challenges engage effectively with engineers and Government stakeholders and leverage multidisciplinary expertise to execute requirements. The Engineering Lead will establish priorities align resources and oversee engineering efforts from requirements through design integration testing and delivery.
Responsibilities:
Lead a multidisciplinary team of mechanical aerospace electrical software and CT/NDT engineers.
Partner with Government stakeholders to understand requirements establish priorities and develop execution strategies.
Align engineering personnel and technical expertise to multiple concurrent projects.
Provide project oversight across reverse engineering design prototyping integration testing and delivery.
Facilitate technical discussions and design reviews ensuring appropriate subject matter experts are engaged.
Manage schedules resources technical risks and project execution.
Provide personnel management mentorship performance management and professional development.
Coordinate with manufacturing integration flight operations logistics procurement and other supporting functions.
Communicate project status technical challenges risks and resource requirements to Government and program leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Systems Engineering or a related engineering or technical discipline.
8 years of technical experience with at least 3 years of relevant engineering management.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or technical teams.
Demonstrated people and project management experience.
Broad understanding of engineering development processes and the ability to effectively engage technical specialists across multiple disciplines.
Experience managing multiple concurrent engineering projects and competing priorities.
Strong customer-facing communication and organizational skills.
Experience working with Government or DoD customers and technical stakeholders.
Active DoD Secret clearance.
Desired:
Masters degree in engineering engineering management or related discipline.
UAS aerospace defense reverse engineering or threat-replication experience.
SolidWorks or similar CAD experience with the ability to review engineering models and drawings.
Experience with prototyping manufacturing CT/NDT or multidisciplinary system integration.
Experience working in an integrated Government/contractor engineering environment.

Pay Range:
