Engineering Intern

At Koops our interns are more than just students theyre vital contributors to our team. As an engineering intern youll gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge automation systems while applying your classroom knowledge in real-world projects. Interns are embedded into project teams where they contribute meaningful work interact with customers and help us continually improve as both a machine builder and a workplace.

Internship Opportunities
Depending on your interests and Koops availability you may be placed in one of the following areas:

Controls Engineering

• Controls design

• PLC programming

• Robot programming

• Customer visits

• Troubleshooting

Project Engineering

• Machine debug

• Machine prove-out

• Customer interaction

Mechanical Engineering

• Machine design

• SolidWorks modeling

• Mechanical power transmission

• Fluid power systems

Requirements

• Must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in an engineering program

• Completion of at least sophomore year by the start of the internship

• Must be able to work onsite in SaginawMIfor the duration of the summer semester
